The meeting came handy as the ODeL Campus spear heads the mounting of all the University of Nairobi taught programmes on an Open, Distance and e-Learning mode of delivery, keeping pace with the global trend.
The Common Undergraduate Courses, as coordinated by the Board of Common Undergraduate Courses (BCUC) of the University of Nairobi have yet to be uploaded into the ODeL platform. The proposal to implement the mounting up the content of two core courses namely CCS 001 (Communication Skills) and CCS 010 (HIV/AIDS) has been developed and in final stages of being reviewed. The implementation of these courses is considered urgent, being part of Rapid Outcome Initiative (ROI) undertaken by the ODeL Campus.
The meeting held on Thursday, February 13, 2020 was part of a series of previous meetings following the formal tabling of request in the University Executive Board (UEB) and Senate for approval that mandated its execution.
