TRANSFORMATIVE INCLUSIVE HIGHER EDUCATION IN SUB-SAHARAN AFRICA FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT (TIHESSA) WORKSHOP IN OSLO, NORWAY , JANUARY 2-13, 2020

Prof. Harriet Kidombo Oslo, Norway from 2th to 13th January 2020. She visited and participated in a partner meeting which prepared a proposal to apply for the European Erasmus+ Programme for funding a project that will support capacity building of PhD training using innovative learning technologies.

Prof. Harriet Kidombo attended a funding proposal workshop in Oslo Norway from 2th to 13th January 2020. The main purpose of the visit was participate in a partner meeting to prepare a proposal to apply for the European Erasmus+ Programme for funding a project that will support capacity building of PhD training using innovative learning technologies.  In the partner meeting, the strategies for building capacity for digital supported quality doctoral education in Sub Saharan Africa, the needs in Africa and courses to be developed, learning materials, accreditation of courses, concepts for online delivered courses, blended learning, the main activities in the project, which tasks and deliverables assigned to each partner, management structure for the project and work plan were discussed.

 

If the application, is successful, the project will start in January 2021
