Overview
The degree programme is offered by the School of Open & Distance Learning
The programme will take 4 calendar years. The programme will be offered through a blended mode of learning utilizing both online and limited face-to-face tutorials during residential sessions.
Structure
The distribution of units will be as follows:
Semester I - 10* Units
Semester II - 8 Units
Semester III - 8 Units
Semester IV - 9 Units
Semester V - 11 Units
Semester VI - 8 Units
* Those taking Mathematics will do 1 extra Unit in Semester I.
Admission Requirements
Candidates must satisfy the University minimum entry requirements.
i) KCSE C+ and above, or
ii) KACE 2 Principal Passes and above, or
iii) P1 Teachers Training Certificate from a recognized training college, or
iv) Diploma recognized by University of Nairobi Senate with C plain at O-level
In addition, applicants should have obtained a minimum of C+ in the two teaching subjects

The total fee for the programme is currently 311,264.00*.
Those taking Mathematics will pay 315,880.00*
* Current fee structure at any given time can be obtained from the student finance office at Gandhi Wing Room G3 main campus.
