Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamud, developed an interest in Project Management having been involved in Non-Governmental Organizations while working with RELIEF WINDS and WARDI Mogadishu.After several years of work at these organizations enrolled for a maters course. Prior to this, he had pursued a Bachelors of Arts in Project Planning and Management at the University of Nairobi where he graduated with Second Class Honors, Upper Division.
Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamud, who is currently a Finance Assistant at UNICEF, Somalia Country Office has perused the Master of Arts in Project Planning and Management in order to further horn his Management skills.

The aim of this study was to investigate the determinants of the performance relief projects implemented by Non-Governmental Organizations in Somalia: A Case Study of International Crescent Red Cross Relief Projects in Mogadishu. The specific objectives of the study were to: examine the extent to human resources influences the performance of relief projects implemented by non-governmental organizations in Somalia: a case of International Crescent Red Cross Relief Projects in Mogadishu; determine how organizational culture influences the performance of relief projects implemented by non-governmental organizations in Somalia: a case of International Crescent Red Cross Relief Projects in Mogadishu; establish the extent to which technology influences the performance of relief projects implemented by non-governmental organizations in Somalia: a case of International Crescent Red Cross Relief Projects in Mogadishu; and examine the influence of resources allocation on the performance of relief projects implemented by non-governmental organizations in Somalia: a case of International Crescent Red Cross Relief Projects in Mogadishu . This research adopted a descriptive research design. The total number of target population was 250. The study recommended that human resource is a very crucial factor in determining the performance of any given relief aid project implemented in any part of the world.
