Electronic procurement is a concept that electronic integration and management of all procurement activities such as sourcing, ordering, receipt, and post-purchase review. The purpose of this study was to investigate factors influencing adoption of electronic procurement in small and micro-enterprises projects in Nairobi County Kenya. The research was anchored on four objectives; to establish how manpower capacity influences adoption of e-procurement in small and micro-enterprises; to determine the extent to which resource allocation influences adoption of electronic procurement in small and micro-enterprises; to examine how employee motivation influences adoption of e-procurement in small and micro-enterprises and to determine the extent to which work environment influences adoption of e-procurement in small and micro-enterprises in Nairobi County.
