Daniel Tembo Sanga is a talented project coordinator with over 10
years of experience moving projects towards success. He is
dedicated to working hard to fulfil company and project goals. He is
also highly experienced technical individual on both technical and
project aspects.
Having being a motivated team player who excels at collaborating
with other team members and project managers to solve issues,
devise creative solutions, and ensure smooth sailing. He is a goal-
driven professional who strives to exceed expectations daily.
His currently work position as the Regional Project Engineer at
KETRACO, Coast Region has given him a depth understanding on
coordinating the development, review and dissemination of the
company’s Strategic Plan, Procedures and Policies, establishing
long term objectives for M&E processes and aligning them with the
Company’s Objectives, providing guidance on the formulation and
review of departmental plans and policy documents that are aligned
to the corporate strategic plan, updating the strategic policy
initiatives and Government priorities in line with Master plan
guidelines and spearheading the development of annual
performance contracts and reporting on the achievements of the
departmental contracts among other assigned duties from time to
time.
He is determinant with strong managerial and leadership skills that
demonstrate strong communication and reporting skills with high
level of judgement and integrity that demonstrate competence in
work performance. Apart from working, he also ventures in
reading, networking, travelling and dancing.

The purpose of this study will be to determine the factors influencing performance of rural electrification projects in Kenya based on a case of rural electrification & renewable energy corporation projects in Meru county Kenya. Specifically, the study will seek to determine the influence of economic factors, social factors, environmental factors and technological factors on the performance of rural electrification renewable energy corporation projects in Meru County. The reviewed theories will include theory of constraints and rational choice theory. Descriptive survey research design will be applied. The target population for this study will be composed of the County officials, management and project management committee members working at Rural Electrification & Renewable Energy Corporation in Meru County. The study seeks to use a sample size of 183 respondents out of 350 using Morgan and Krejcie (1970) model. Stratified sampling methods will be used for the selection of the study respondents. Self-administered questionnaires will be employed to get primary data. Secondary data will be collected from documented records of REREC projects, those in the county government ministry and through internet searches. Data that will be collected from the field will be filtered, sorted and cleaned in line with research objectives. The data will be then coded, and entered into and analyzed using statistics software (SPSS, Version 25.0). Quantitative data will be analyzed using descriptive statistics. It will involve calculation of percentages, frequencies, means and standard deviation. Thematic analysis will entail the creation of themes related to the study variables. This will be performed on the qualitative data provided by the open-ended parts in the questionnaire. Multiple regression analysis will be used. The results will be presented using tables.
