Diploma in Adult Education & Community Development

Overview

This programme is offered by the School of Open and Distance Learning on ODeL mode

  1. KCSE grade C and above (or equivalent)
  2. KCE/EACE Division II with a Pass in Maths or Business Course & one language
  3. ‘A’ level with at least 2 (two) Subsidiary Passes
  4. A P1 teacher certificate
  5. KCSE mean grade C- OR KCE/EACE DIV. III with a Professional Certificate from a recognized Institution*
  6. Adult Education practitioners and community workers with mean grade of D+ (or Div IV) and a Certificate in Adult Education & Community Development or Open & Distance Learning from the University of Nairobi or equivalent qualifications from the institutions recognized by senate 
  7. any other relevant criteria listed in the General Admissions Criteria

*The certificate must have been undertaken for at least one semester from an institution recognized by the university of Nairobi senate

Semester I - 54,500.00*

Semester II - 35,000.00*

Total - 89,500.00*
