Overview
The PhD programme is offered by the School of Physical Sciences in collaboration with ODeL Campus which provides a platform on which it is offered
The PhD programme in Climate Change is designed to provide students with advanced theoretical and practical knowledge in Climate Change Science. The programme is designed to meet the needs of those graduates seeking careers in the fields such as Climate Change Science; Modeling; Climate Risk Management and research in Climate Change science.
The objectives of the programme shall be to impart students with:
Knowledge in climate change science and develop competence in the applications of climate change science, skills to conduct advanced research in climate change issues and disseminate research findings.
Admission Requirements
The Common Regulations for the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the University of Nairobi and in the School of Physical Sciences shall apply.
2.2 The following shall be eligible for admission:
2.2.1 A holder of a Master’s Degree in Climate Change, or its equivalent from the University of Nairobi or any other institution recognized by Senate
